I'm Nicole Maryli. I'm a wife, mother of three, and a graphic designer. I love using my design talents to serve you and your goals!
The business name Maryli by Design comes from my Puerto Rican heritage.
My paternal great grandfather was a Puerto Rican Poet who often created unique names for his children. In honor of him, and my great grandmother Mary, my parents gave me Maryli as a middle name (pronounced “mary-lee” for those of us with english-language tendencies).
I chose to use that name in my design business with the idea that the design decisions I make are intentional, while keeping in mind what matters deeply to you and what will help your business thrive!
My design background has roots in 2009 as a highschool student taking graphic and web design classes while also working for a local photographer. In college I majored in Organizational Communication and Advocacy with a minor in Advertising and Graphic Design. My internships included working at a branding studio in Guadalajara, Mexico, and Deseret Digital Media in Salt Lake City, UT (creating social media content including some videos). I worked as a designer at a few different print shops from there (AlphaGraphics and Signs.com). In 2018 I took a UX bootcamp in San Fransisco completing 400+ hours learning best practices in User Experience Design. I most recently completed 2 years at Keokee Media + Marketing where I earned the bulk of my web and advertising design.
I hope you find my background to be of service to you and your business. Let’s get your next project rolling!
